Deep Space Brian (Intro)

[00:00:15] Hey everyone, I'm Brian and this is snorkeling with narwhals. I know it's been a long time since a new episode came out. Again, I do have some announcements. First off, snorkeling with Narwhals is going to return to being a solo podcast. It's just me. Slippy has had to move on. He has a family now, and the pod is just too much to add on top of that. Totally understandable, but a huge thank you to Slippy for helping me relaunch snorkeling with Narwhals in 2022. I'm gonna miss having him here. I mean, it was a lot of fun to have a co host, so I am still in the process of figuring out what snorkeling with narwhals is going to be moving forward. This is still a side project for me, so I'm not gonna say I'm doing an episode every other week or anything cause that never works out. I think though, that I'm gonna do shorter episodes. When I did the pod before Slippy, like with Ronnie and Eric and by myself, the episodes tended to be about ten minutes, and I think that'll be easier for me to commit to and easier for you to listen to. Snorkeling in popcorn is going to move to the snorkeling with Narwhals podcast feed. Since it's just me, I don't see much reason to have two feeds. Snorkeling and popcorn will be its own show. It's just going to show up in the snorkeling with narwhals feed. These episodes will probably be longer just because they're movie discussions with guests. And speaking of guests, I plan on having guests join me on snorkeling with narwhals like my sister Kara, my brother Derek, my friend Evan, and Slippy whenever he can. So I just wanted to give you an update on what's going on with snorkeling with narwhals. I told Slippy if the 2016 season was the original series and the season with him was the next generation, then I guess this is deep space Brian, which is funny cause I never watched Deep Space nine. Anyway, my first plan for an episode, probably a couple episodes, is the Mountain Dew ranking that I had been teasing. So keep an eye out for that and thanks for listening.
